To whom it may Concern:
I was married on April 21, 2007 in Waco, Texas. Lauren Moore coordinated the entire event. I had lived in Waco my entire life and have a long family history there. Therefore, I knew a very special event like my wedding would have to take place in Waco. Unfortunately, I had to move out of town the summer before the wedding for a job. Planning a wedding is an enjoyable but difficult and stressful job. It was even more stressful for me because I was planning my wedding long-distance. However, Lauren made it a very good experience and I’m happy to say that I could not have imagined a more perfect and stress-free day than that of my wedding. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a fun, hardworking wedding coordinator.
Being the oldest in my family, my parents and I had never been through a wedding process before. We had no idea what to expect and were overwhelmed at the prospect of planning such a large event. Our guest list included over 500 names and our guests totaled about 300 at the wedding. While this number intimidated us, Lauren never let it overwhelm her.
The most terrifying part of the process came three weeks before the wedding when an unexpected flood completely destroyed the site of our rehearsal dinner and the main kitchen of the caterer for both the rehearsal dinner and the reception. Lauren and I found potential alternatives for both the rehearsal dinner location and caterer and waited and hoped the problem would resolve itself. A week before the wedding, we were told the original site of the rehearsal dinner would be ready for an event. Lauren was professional and demanding during that time making sure my wedding would not be affected by the situation. It wasn’t.
While these situations proved Lauren’s capabilities, I was most impressed by her attention to detail and her desire to make my event exactly what I had imagined. She emailed or called me anytime she had a question, whether big or small. She never tired of receiving my emails and phone calls and was always ready with an answer or a way to find the answer. On the day of the wedding, she was at the reception site at eight o’clock in the morning decorating. Lauren put together all the flower arrangements for the reception as well as all the decorations for the walls and centerpieces. I was not allowed to do any work the day of my wedding and this made it a very stress-free experience.
I believe getting married should be a wonderful and happy experience but I have seen too many friends have their experience ruined by stress and details. At the end of the day, the important thing is that the wedding happens and the couple is married. This should be what the couple is concerned with. Lauren allowed me to focus on the meaning of the day and enjoy the happy occasion with which I was blessed. I would highly recommend her services to anyone planning an event.
Sincerely,
Angie Cates Boone
